# How To Provide Liquidity

Adding liquidity to a Byreal pool is straightforward and simple. Here is a step-by-step walkthrough:

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Navigate to the Markets Page

Click the Markets tab in the top navigation bar. You'll see a dashboard with at-a-glance highlights and a searchable list of all available liquidity pools. Each pool row shows the **token pair, fee tier, price trend, TVL, 24h volume, 24h fees, estimated APR, and Copy Bonus.** Use the filter tags to narrow down pools.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Select a Pool

Find the token pair you want to provide liquidity for. In the Actions column on the right, you'll see two buttons:

* **Add Liquidity:** Opens the position creation page where you set your own price range and deposit amounts manually.
* **Strategy:** Opens a side panel showing the top-performing LP positions for that pool, ranked by P\&L, APR, and fees earned. You can review each strategy's price range, holding period, and number of copies, then click Copy strategy to replicate it with one click. This is powered by Byreal's Real Farmer system.
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Set Your Price Range

After clicking **Add Liquidity**, you'll land on the position creation page with a price chart and range controls. Byreal offers three preset range options to get you started quickly:

* Safe (±10%)
* Standard (±5%)
* Aggressive (±1%)

You can also set a custom range by dragging the boundaries on the chart, adjusting the liquidity distribution sliders, typing Min and Max prices directly, or using the +/− buttons to fine-tune.

Your liquidity will only be active (earning fees and rewards) when the market price is within this range. A narrower range concentrates your capital more tightly, earning a larger share of fees but with a higher risk of the price moving outside your range. A wider range keeps your position active longer but earns a smaller share of each trade.

{% hint style="info" %}
Tip: Not sure which range to pick? Click the Top positions button at the top of the page to see how the best-performing LPs in this pool have set their ranges. You can use their strategies as a reference, or copy one directly via Real Farmer.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Enable Autoswap (Optional)

If you only have one of the two tokens, toggle the **Autoswap** switch at the top of the panel. The input changes to a single token field — enter your amount and click **Create Position**.

Byreal automatically swaps part of your deposit via [Jupiter](https://jup.ag/) and adds liquidity in one transaction. See [What is Autoswap?](/trade/how-to-swap-tokens/autoswap.md) for details.

{% hint style="info" %}
With Autoswap enabled, you can skip Steps 5 and 6 — go straight to Step 7 to create your position.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Enter Your Deposit Amounts

In the **Create Position** panel on the right side, enter the amount of each token you want to deposit. The interface shows your wallet balance for each token and calculates the required ratio automatically based on the current price and your selected range.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Adjust Slippage (Optional)

Set your liquidity slippage tolerance. This is the maximum acceptable deviation in the deposit ratio caused by price changes between submission and on-chain execution. The default setting works for most situations.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Create Your Position

Once you've set your range and entered your amounts, click the Create Position button at the bottom of the panel and confirm the transaction in your wallet. Once confirmed onchain, a position NFT is added to your wallet. This NFT represents your liquidity in the pool and is your proof of ownership — it is required to manage or withdraw your position.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Important: Do not transfer, sell, or burn your position NFT. Doing so may result in permanent loss of access to your deposited liquidity.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### How to Manage your LP Position

Once you've opened a liquidity position, you can monitor and manage it from the Portfolio tab in the top navigation.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Active vs Inactive Positions

Your position is Active when the current market price is within the price range you set. Active positions earn trading fees and incentive rewards. If the price moves outside your range, your position becomes Inactive: it stops earning fees and rewards until the price returns to your range.

To start earning again if the price has moved permanently, you'll need to close your current position and open a new one with an updated price range.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Viewing Your Positions

Click [Portfolio](https://www.byreal.io/en/portfolio) in the top navigation. At the top, an Overview card shows your **Total liquidity, Total profit, and Total Liquidity Fees** across all positions. Next to it, a Copy Bonus overview card displays your Real Farmer stats: **Related positions, Total Copy Bonus, Pending bonus, and Claimable bonus** (with a Claim button and countdown timer for the current claim cycle).

Below the overview, toggle between Current position and Closed positions tabs. The position table shows each position's **Liquidity, Est. APR, P\&L, Unclaimed fees / Fees earned, Copy Bonus / Copies, Range, and available Actions.** You can search by token or address to filter your positions.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Claiming Rewards

The Portfolio page shows an Unclaimed LP fees total with a Claim button. Click Claim to collect accumulated trading fees from all your positions at once. If you have positions across multiple pools or tokens, this may trigger several transactions and each requires a small network fee. Copy Bonuses from Real Farmer are shown separately in the Copy Bonus overview card and follow their own claim cycle.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Adding Liquidity to an Existing Position

Use the "+" button on your position to increase its size. Adding liquidity to an existing position maintains the same price range. Enter the additional amount and confirm the transaction.

You can also add liquidity with a single token — toggle **Autoswap** on the deposit panel and enter one token. See [What is Autoswap?](/trade/how-to-swap-tokens/autoswap.md)
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Removing Liquidity or Closing a Position

Use the "−" button to partially or fully withdraw liquidity. Any time you remove liquidity, even partially, all unclaimed rewards for that position are automatically claimed and sent to your wallet. Closing a position fully returns your deposited tokens (adjusted for any price movement) and burns the position NFT.

**Autoswap:** Toggle Autoswap on to withdraw as a single token of your choice.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Rebalancing

Close your current position and open a new one in a different price range — all in one flow.

Click **Rebalance** on your position (from the position list or detail page). Set your new range, choose whether to reinvest your claimed fees, review the comparison, and confirm.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Compound

Claim your earned trading fees and add them back as liquidity in one click.

Click **Compound** on your position (from the position list or detail page), review the impact, and confirm.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}
