FAQ
General
What is Byreal Predict?
Byreal Predict is a prediction market built on Polymarket. You trade Yes/No shares on real-world events. Correct positions pay out at $1.00 per share. Incorrect positions expire at $0.00.
Is Byreal Predict available in my country?
Byreal Predict is not available for trading in the United States, United Kingdom, or France. Users in restricted regions can view markets but cannot place orders. This is a regulatory requirement.
Who runs the markets?
Markets are operated by Polymarket on Polygon. Byreal Predict provides the front-end interface and bridges your Solana funds directly into Polymarket's order book. All liquidity is shared across the full Polymarket ecosystem.
Funds and Fees
What token do I use to trade?
Prediction markets settle in pUSD, Polymarket's USDC-backed stablecoin on Polygon. When you bridge USDC from Solana, it is converted to pUSD automatically. pUSD is always redeemable 1:1 with USDC.
What does bridging cost?
The bridge fee is approximately 3.5% of the amount transferred. Bridging takes approximately 30 seconds. A fee also applies when withdrawing back to Solana.
What fees apply when I trade?
Byreal charges a builder fee on taker orders (market orders and limit orders that fill immediately). There are no fees for limit orders that rest in the book without immediately filling.
Are my funds safe while bridging?
The bridge is powered by fun.xyz. Funds are non-custodial throughout the transfer. In the unlikely event of a bridge failure, funds are not lost but may take longer to process. Contact Byreal support if a bridge transaction does not complete within five minutes.
Trading
What is the difference between a Market and Limit order?
A Market order fills immediately at the best available price. A Limit order sits in the book until your target price is reached. Use Limit orders to control your entry price.
Can I sell before a market resolves?
Yes. You can sell your shares at any time the market is open, at the current market price.
How does TP/SL work?
Take Profit and Stop Loss are server-side automations. Byreal monitors your position's current price every few seconds. When the price crosses your trigger level, a sell order is submitted automatically. Execution is best-effort, not guaranteed at an exact price, particularly in fast or low-liquidity conditions.
What happens if a match is postponed or cancelled?
If a match is cancelled or postponed beyond the original market resolution window, Polymarket resolves the market as invalid and all shares are returned at $0.50 (half of $1.00). This means traders receive 50% of their position value back.
When do markets resolve?
Match winner markets resolve after the match ends and the official result is confirmed. Group and tournament markets resolve after the final match in that stage. Resolution typically takes a few hours after the event ends.
Security
Does Byreal hold my funds?
No. Your predict wallet is non-custodial, powered by Privy. Private keys are split across Privy's secure infrastructure and your device. Byreal never has direct access to your keys or funds.
