How does Byreal Perp work behind the scenes?
Byreal provides a trading interface on top of Hyperliquid, the leading decentralized perpetual exchange. Your trades execute directly on Hyperliquid's onchain order book. Byreal handles wallet management (via Privy) and fund transfers (via Relay bridge) so you get a seamless experience without dealing with multiple chains.
What markets can I trade?
At launch, Byreal Perp supports core crypto perps (BTC, ETH, SOL, etc.) and select RWA markets (xyz:GOLD, xyz:SILVER, etc.). We're expanding to more markets — including stocks, forex, and additional crypto pairs — over time. Check the trading interface for the latest available markets.
What's the maximum leverage?
Up to 40x for BTC, 25x for ETH, 20x for SOL. RWA markets like xyz:GOLD and xyz:SILVER support up to 25x. Leverage limits vary by asset — check the trading interface for each market's current limit.
Do I need a crypto wallet to use Byreal Perp?
No. You can sign up with Google, Email, or your Bybit account — Privy will create a Solana wallet for you automatically. If you already have a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.), you can connect it directly. See Account Setup for details.
How are my funds secured?
Byreal uses Privy for wallet management, which is fully non-custodial — your private keys are split across Privy's secure infrastructure and your device. Byreal never has access to your keys. Your trading funds are held on Hyperliquid's L1, secured by their consensus mechanism.
Can I use Byreal Perp on mobile?
Yes. The perp interface is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is planned for the future.
How do I move funds to my perp account?
Funds live in your Byreal Solana wallet. To trade perps, click the wallet icon and use Transfer to move USDC to your Hyperliquid perp account via Relay bridge (~30 seconds). See Transfer & Bridging for details.
How do I avoid liquidation?
Set stop losses, use reasonable leverage (2-5x for beginners), and monitor your positions. Be extra cautious with RWA assets on weekends when traditional markets are closed. See Risk & Liquidation for detailed guidance.
Are there any fees beyond Hyperliquid's trading fees?
Currently, Byreal does not charge any additional platform fees. You only pay Hyperliquid's standard trading fees and Relay bridge fees for fund transfers. This may change in the future — any changes will be announced in advance.
